Ensenada wine: Mexico's most important wine region

With over 150 active wineries, Valle de Guadalupe and Ensenada's surrounding valleys produce 90% of Mexican wine. From large houses like L.A. Cetto and Monte Xanic to artisan micro-cellars with limited production. Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc are the most planted grapes in the region.

The experience goes far beyond tasting: farm cuisine restaurants, boutique hotels, festivals like Fiestas de la Vendimia (August-October), and vineyard landscapes that rival any wine region in the world.
